I'm moving overseas from the US to the Caribbean and will be swapping SIM cards as I travel back and forth. I was wondering, will my contacts that I iMessage with have to update their contact information for me to keep using iMessage seamlessly? They most likely have me in their address books using my US number.

I have no idea for sure, but last year there were reports about people who bought used iPhones getting iMessages intended for the person they bought them from. The number was retained in the iPhone from the previous SIM card, as long as the didn't reset or restore the phone. I don't know if this has changed though.
