I'm looking to buy my first iMac but I want to wait on the new Haswell chips. My wife writes and composes music and I need some help on what to purchase. I definitely want the 27" inch screen. Is there much difference between the 3.2GHz and 3.4GHz models besides that one is $200.00 more. Is it worth the extra $200.00. Please help! :confused: Thanks.

Not sure if you are saying you were waiting until the Haswell chips were released or are still waiting? If you are waiting good news they were released this week!!

If you are comparing the two 27" mac models shown on the Apple store keep in mind in addition to the processor bump there is also a bump in the GPU from 1gb to 2gb so that extra $200 is not all for the processor.
