I may be the last one to the party, but I just noticed this. When you double click to switch between open applications, depending on where you are swiping determines how fast you switch between open apps.

So, if you are swiping over the preview of the open app it is slower than if you swipe over the icon under the app preview.

Switching between apps seemed slow to me until I realized I could swipe more quickly between them by swiping over the icon and not the preview.

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but wanted to share...
