I have a G3 300 Beige Mini Tower with 2 hard drives. One is a 8GB IDE and the other is a 4GB SCSI. I have OS 9.2.1 installed on the SCSI and OS X.2 installed on a partition on the 8GB IDE and OS 8.6 on a small partition on the same drive.

Yesterday, I clean installed all of the systems and was successfully in both 9.2.1 and 8.6. Now, I can't boot into 9.2.1 or 8.6 from OS X. When I try to boot into either older system, it gets to the happy mac screen then restarts and boots into OS X.2. This happened before I clean installed when the systems were installed on different partitions and different hard drives as well.

I have tried resetting the PRAM, but that hasn't helped.

Any assistance would be appreciated

Thanx

Have you tried pressing the Option key down when you start up your machine, I guess? The option key gives you a selection menu to chose which OS system on your machine you want to use at that particular startup.

I believe you can do that on a OSX installed machine.

Good luck.
