Anyone with new Caze Thinedge for 5S

Anyone preordered the caze thinedge for their 5S? I think these look like beautiful bumpers! However I don't have any experience with them in the past or anything so I'm interested in opinions!

I don't have one but have only heard good things. That black/wood looks really nice. If you would have put "new" in the title you might get more views. I bet most just think it's another caze thread. Do a search and you'll find a number of happy customers.
 
The gold and the wood one looks real good. I might order them for my gold iPhone. If anyone got a promo code that would be sweet
 
I ordered the wood/black but it hasn't shipped yet (site says it should have shipped by the 12th). Anyone else order and get a shipping notice yet?
 
I placed an order on October 2nd for the faux leather one. I was also quoted a ship date of October 12 but still have not received any shipping info.
Their website was down most of today, so I sent an email to them giving them 24 hours to respond with an update or I am going to call my credit card company to dispute the charge. Very disappointing experience so far. I will keep you posted on what happens next.
 
I like how the fastener sits flush with the bumper unlike the original one which protrudes. That was my only gripe when I used the ThinEdge on my Slate iPhone 5.

I just got reply today, it said the New Thinedge is currently out of stock and will be in store by Monday, meanwhile, they will send one extra $9.9 screen protector to pay the delay shipment.
 
Never received a shipping confirmation or anything but they finally responded to my email this week. I ordered the Black/Wood but apparently they ran into production issues and aren't able to make it. They replaced it with a brown leather but as a vegetarian/vegan I avoid leather whenever possible. I changed it to the faux leather/black and they're giving me a free black canvaz case for the trouble as well.

I have since bought the caudabe veil and and happy with it so I we'll see if I decide to even use it once it shows up. It's supposed to ship next week.
 
Is the Caze logo as obvious in real life as it is in the pictures? I would get this - looks nice - except the logo is a real turnoff.
 
My orders says "left Hong Kong for its destination on 30-Oct-2013"...
Will try to update with pictures once I get it.
 
the old case wouldn't take 3rd party lightening cables like the amazon basic cable, for example. can anyone confirm that the opening on the new case is larger and able to accommodate a larger cable?
 
The case finally got here (extremely slow shipping).

Here are some photos.

The gray clip I was shipped looks like a bad one (bad fit), very obvious in the photos.

Not sure how much I like this case. Going to give it a few days and hopefully will report back.

My Bumper just came in a few minutes ago and I'm very unhappy with fitment. The fit & finish of the original ThinEdge for the iPhone 5 was WAAYYY better. the quality of the "real leather" looks very cheap. Sorry I don't have any photos right now. I'll take some when I get home from work this evening.
