I'm having a problem extracting Voice Memo recordings (of any size) to my computer so that I can chop them up using Logic/etc.

I don't want to use iTunes.
I don't want to use iExplorer.
I don't want to email or sms it to myself either (since they are long recordings)
I don't want to jailbreak etc.

I basically need the ability to see my iPhone as a hard drive on the desktop to access the Voice Memo recordings and transfer them to my computer.

I am open to using Terminal or some other "backdoor" method to extract the files too.

The 2nd part of my issue makes things a bit more hairy:
On the iPhone in Voice Memo, my recordings are greyed out. I can't play them, edit/share, etc. I can only see them, and that they are greyed out.
They do not appear in my iTunes when I connect.
Nor do they appear in programs like iExplorer.
Pretty weird right?

Thank you so much for your replies and assistance! I hope the solution to this problem will help others trying to do the same thing too!
