Hi,

I just purchased a Spyder4Pro colorimeter. I ran several times of calibration and profiling. Here is my display quality report. I hope it is useful for anyone curious about iMac's display.

1. Spyder MQA (monitor quality analysis)

Thanks for sharing - do you have anything to compare it to - another monitor and do you find the results validates your use of an iMac for the level of use of the screen?

I have 2 iMacs, both of which are 27". I think they have the same panel, and the results turned out to be quite similar with each other.

I wish the i1display profiler had quality reports like that. I'll look at generating something similar with CalMan, but it's a bit of a pain since I have to use my laptop to do the sweeps, and manually move through the various slides (I downloaded the AVSHD mp4 files so I can quickly go from slide to slide, at least).

You can try the dispcalGUI, a open source calibration & profiling tool that supports many colorimeters. It's really powerful.
