I am of opinion that the Logitech VX Revolution was the greatest mouse I've ever used.

I sold it when I switched to a Magic Mouse. That was a bad move, however, so I got rid of that and got a cheap Microsoft wheel mouse to tide me over.

Tiding me over turned into four years. And it's starting to bug out on me.

Methinks it's time I return to a wireless mouse. And to my dismay, the VX Revolution was discontinued with no clear successor.

Or has it? Enlighten me, MacRumors community-at-large -- is there a mouse on market today that carries the VX Revolution torch?

What do you do with the mouse?

Do you need wireless mouse?

For me I only use a mouse for gaming / photo retouching, so I am fine with a wired mouse.

You can still buy a new Logitech VX Revolution, however the successor should be the Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX.
