I've been regularly updating a Word document for a while with no problem. Each time I start a new paragraph, I use a Tab to indent the opening sentence by five characters.
Recently a "rogue" Tab has crept in - just half a character long - which appears when I press the tab button if the cursor is at the beginning of the line on the left. If I press Tab again, I get the usual five-character long Tab indent.
This is much more irritating than it probably sounds and I'd like to get rid of this little Tab altogether. I've tried going onto Format/Paragraph/Tabs and clearing anything I can see there but that little tab is still there.
Anyone had the same problem and got a fix?
