I know this is an old topic and the problem is already resolved, but I am kinda noob and I want to ask something. I have the exact same problem as described in this topic: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1580943/
I've noticed that the problem doesn't appear when in safe mode, so is it possible that something else is causing the problem and not the baseband?
I have a jailbroken 3GS, iOS 6.1.2, baseband 05.16.08 and I just don't want to jailbreak again, cause it takes too much time and my central button is not working.
