Hey all!

I know we have some avid 24 fans here, and we all know the new season is starting in January.

I just saw the preview of the new season, in 720p HD.

Looking good.

I just saw it too, not as good as the s4 prequel ... but still excites me sort of ... jack looks like a scrub ... worse than when s2 started.

Well didnt he just walk out and leave with nothing at the end of season 4?

I think the season looks great. I hope apple and fox get a deal together so I can lug 24 around with me.

From all the football teasers I've seen it looks like CTU will be hunting Jack this season.

Chloe looked fairly stressed in the preview.

For anyone that hasn't seen it, PM me and I will now give you a link to the file, which I have hosted. Its 29mb, 720p High Definition. You'll need VLC to play it, QT turned it down for me, even with all my various plugins. Its a avi.

*rubs hands together* It all starts on January 8th right? Has anyone heard if they are going to run it commercial free like they did last season?

I just saw a preview a bit ago and it was 1080i for me, i hope fox not only shows this season in 1080i, but also with 5.1 Dolby Digital.

Did last season not have commercials? I distinctly remember them. Unless you dl, when they always don't have commercials.

I cant wait. I jus go a new HD TV. Im hoping Jack will take down the drug cartels in mexico or something other than terrorists. Its gonna b fun. The premier is gonna be long though becasue its 2 hrs sun. the 15th and 2 hrs mon the 16th.

Last season the premiere was 2 hours commercial free

two days after my 30th

yeah over here in the US the first episode was aired "commercial free" even though there was a big big Ford ad/plug at the start, but i'd rather have it that way for sure. although every time i saw them driving their F150s or Explorers i thought it was just more advertising....

I saw the preview last night and thought about posting it, but I didn't. The file I downloaded was ~70MB though, 11 minutes long and quicktime didn't like it either. It certainly wasn't HD though.

Jack's sporting quite the mullet in the prequel. That being said I found it to be rather pointless, Chloe says someone hacked my computer and they know she was into his autopsy report and probably made the conclusion he's still alive, then Jack's in a car chase and gets away, the end. I found the 30 second teaser during commercials of Prison Break more exciting.

36 days... Can't wait.

It was just a general teaser shown on Fox. Still, PM me if you want my version, in nice HD.

Just saw the prequel...not much substance, just an 11 min. long Toyota ad.

Nonetheless, still very excited for season 5...This will be the first season I watch on TV, this summer went straight through seasons 1-3 then downloaded all of season 4. What an incredible show. I do agree with the hair comment made above, not a fan of the receding hairline JB.

Anyways, the wait to January seems so long.

Just read that this season will begin with two, two-hour specials on consecutive nights and will then revert back to its weekly, one-hour slot.

PS: Is the trailer online anywhere yet?
