Just found this and wanted to share:
In Chrome (youtube), the speak gives noise, like crackle or distortion.
In Safari or iTunes, the sound is much better without wired noise.

I tired to play the same movie trailer and found the sound from iTunes is much much better than chrome. I assume apple "optimize" the speak performance for its own products.

That would be a wrong assumption. It is probably a bug in Chrome.
