For those individuals, we've posted this news story, which will be updated with the link to the presentation once it becomes available from Apple. No other news stories or announcements will be displayed alongside this story.

Users waiting for the video to be posted are welcome to gather in the thread associated with this news story, and we ask that those who follow the events refrain from making any posts in the thread about the announcements.

Live stream it!

Even if they live stream it, this thread will still have its uses for people that work during the day and want to get a spoiler free link to the video when they get back at home in the evening.

I have hard time understanding why Apple simply doesn't live stream the event.

Apple live streams have been extremely reliable and surprisingly are the most reliable live streams of any type of media/event. They should just do it for all events. :(

Live Streaming costs money (is live streaming everything going to benefit their shareholders when a video available for replay is likely to generate as much hype, perhaps even more?) and they would sometimes want to give some benefits to those who attend their media events providing them a better scoop on the announcements than those who don't attend.

I'm not Kuo but here my analysis:

iPad:
- mini-inspired design, smaller, lighter
- TouchID
- A7X processor
- Space grey and Gold colours available
- same price

iPad mini:
- Retina display
- slightly ticker, slightly heavier (~30g), same design
- TouchID
- Space grey and Gold colours available
- Slightly more expensive

Cheaper iPad:
- iPad 2 to disappear
- current iPad mini to replace it

MacBook Pro:
- no idea why the hell it took so much to replace them

Am I wrong? Maybe

we're treated like school kids, "still a lot to cover" class, so take out your pencils and sharpeners, you're not going to get pens like all the other kids till we are done with you.

this company is so institutional and creepy these days huh? they lost a few loose screws?

No live stream? :( I hope Apple has an official live stream again. This event is a little bigger than the September event.

Ach, only page one and the traditional rules of this thread are broken... we have posts about speculation of the products to be released..

This used to be the 'off topic' thread... to hang out in with no mention of products, until the video link was available. And even then, no spoilers to allow everyone to catch up with the video when they can.

Apple has tended to announce the majority of their live streams the morning of, haven't they? I think we can still hope for that.

Here's what they are going to have done...

Flash! Apple adds new capabilities to Apple Time Machine, allowing users to actually fast forward or rewind time. It was a great announcement tomorrow!

I would love a Mini surprise in there.
