Mavericks wont install (late 2012 MBP)

Was wondering if any one else was getting an error?

Wont istall to my disk because "this disk is used for backups".

I have this drive backed up with time machine, but the drive is on the network, so i dont know what the issue is. No one else seems to have this issue.

Any insight would be appreciated.
