I've looked around but since installing mavericks I'm not sure what I did (or whether it was the computer), I opened the app and all my new emails synced (about 10 - through gmail).
I quit then re-opened it and now it says the most recent email was from December 2012 for one gmail account (which is the one that received 10 earlier) and it's moved all the last year worth of messages to the local archive apparently (I found this out by searching for a recent mail message).
None of my other 4 email accounts have had this happen to them so I'm not sure what I did or what went wrong? Has this happened to anyone before?
I tried deleting and re-adding the account but it didn't help.
