Can anyone run a SHA1 Hash check on the InstallESD.dmg file?

I am having same problem. For those who can successfully run the install, can you get the SHA1 checksum for your installation?

Thanks!

shouldn't they all be the same if you're downloading it through the app store?

Would also greatly appreciate this. Makes verifying that I've got the right image stored on our network much easier.

For this purpose, an md5 hash would also be fine. If someone would be kind enough to open Terminal.app, switch to the directory with the InstallESD file in it, and type 'md5sum InstallESD.dmg' (without the quotes) I would be very thankful.

here you go:

shasum /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/SharedSupport/InstallESD.dmg
e804dea01e38f8cd28d6c1b1697487e50898dbe7

MD5 (/Applications/Install OS X Mavericks.app/Contents/SharedSupport/InstallESD.dmg) = f222952400db8535c03697c3293e168e
