Reading List icon is forever stuck on updating (a little bit of blue progress)

Hasn't moved in weeks.


Any ideas? Btw, the loading of the Reading List slows to a halt if you have many entries doesn't it? The more you have the longer it takes. I dont get the point of the feature if it takes days to update / sync.
