It looks like Mavericks doesn't let you set the time the computer needs to idle before starting sleep mode. Energy Saver settings in System Preferences only has one slider instead of two in Mountain Lion.

This is pretty frustrating for me because I want to have an SSH connection open even when I'm not using my computer and my display is off (saving energy). Is there way to control the idle time before sleep with Mavericks or a third party app?

Getting Computer sleep sliders back

Does anyone have a solution to get the computer sleep slider back that Haswell takes away? Just because Haswell can manage sleep, doesn't mean delaying it is not useful. I really hope someone has a solution.

Cheers!
