Hello,

I'm thinking of getting a MacBook Pro Retina 15'' (Late 2013). I know it comes installed with Mavericks. I would like to know if it would be possible to install Mountain Lion, since Mavericks' iBooks is horrible and mostly screws up my huge library of books I had on iTunes. I would aslo like to avoid the countless incompatible pieces of software that have so far crashed on mavericks.

Long story short, I would like to format the new MacBook Pro and install Mountain Lion. Will it allow me to do so?

Thanks

Nick

Sometimes when a system comes factory installed with the latest OS, and you try and clean install the system with a previous version, it gives you something to the effect of "You are installing a previous version of Mac OS, please install version 10.9 or above" something to that effect, if anyone has information or tips, it would be really helpful
