Hello.
I have a Retina MacBook Pro 15inch with 16GB Ram, i7 and a 256GB SSD. Oh and Mavericksis installed.

I created a Boot Camp USB stick with Windows 8.1, but I cannot install windows. After booting it takes ages to load (about 15-20 minutes just to show the screen to select the language and keyboard layout). After that the whole installation just hangs. At the bottom it says installation is loading but nothing happens. At first I thought I just have to wait, but after an hour I decided to restart the MacBook.

The next surprise was that I cannot boot OSX again. I have to reinstall OSX just to get the MacBook working again.

Has anybody an idea how I can install Win8.1 and why the installation is so slow and just stops?

Thanks so much,
With best regards.
