The Philippines...
I am a bit confused here. I bought this pair of speakers back in the US, I am now in Asia and our powerline is 220vac. At the back of the speaker states only 110vac, while the manual states that it can plug to either 110v or 220v. Other information states that there is a voltage selector, but I could not find it on mine.

Currently it is plugged into a step-down transformer from 220v to 110v. I really wanted to get rid of the transformer if the AV40's are auto volt.

Can anybody here shed some light?

The AV 40 is sold by region with the correct power rating in that region. There is no switch. What you see is what you get.

Thanks. I have figured it out. I guess I have to suck it up with a step down transformer as always attached. :(
