Hello,
I have a macbook air and am looking for a portable second monitor. I would like to use the second monitor as an extension for purposes related to videos, word, excel, basically just more screen space. I have done some researching and have found three models: the AOC E1649FWU 16" USB-Powered Portable LED Monitor, the Lenovo ThinkVision LT1421 14" Widescreen LED Monitor, and the Toshiba 15.6-inch USB 3.0 Mobile LED Monitor.

I was wondering if anyone owns any of these or has any opinions for me. Also i was wondering if they make a portable monitor for a mac but that can also be used for an iPhone.

Thanks for any help!

What size screen does your Air have? If it is the 13", I would go with the 14" portable just so that the screens flow from one to the other visually. For me, having one screen significantly larger than the the other ruins the effect of having two screens.

In another thread on this forum about a new bag for a geek, the thread starter mentioned he used this 14" portable monitor, he may be able to review for you
