I was trying to do some Java applets earlier for fun, but it was pissing me off because when I made changes to my Java code, and then used javac to create the .class file, Safari or Firefox wouldn't update the web page until I quit and relaunched the browser. Even using all the <meta> tags and stuff to turn off caching didn't help. Anyone know what I was doing wrong? It was super frustrating so I just gave up.
