I found this app by MeteoEarth recently and the wind part of it is just amazing, especially in 3D mode.
I would dearly LOVE to get this for my full screen 27 inch Mac. I have emailed them, but dont get a response.
Anybody here know of anything like this for a computer?
Screenshot of the part of the USA this morning, and the other one of the Philippines getting the big typhoon. Watching these change and swirl is pretty cool.
If you Google for their home page, watch the demo videos, pretty nice.
Just wish they had it for a big screen,,,,,,
Jane

I did buy WeatherPro today on sale, and upgraded my MeteoEarth today too.
Then I can see the wind on different elevations now. Its pretty amazing!

This is by far one of my favourite apps of all time.

Just really wish I could see this on a big screen,,,,,,,,

Which one is better weather pro or meteo? What is the difference?

Meteo is the one which shows all the amazing graphics, the weather pro is more like any regular weather app, like wunderground and the like.

Meteo is just beautiful, scroll back to the beginning to see my 2 screenshots, or go to their webpage and take a look around. Pretty cool eh?

You can do the upgrade on sale today, then you get different elevations of wind data. Not that anybody would want to fly that high, but its pretty cool to see the jet stream, well sort of.

I also have Weatherpro and it is one of the best weather apps. In Germany they tested several apps for locations worldwide and Weatherpro came out as the clear winner.

I just got it, and yes its very very nice. Better than most all my other weather apps, but the MeteoEarth one is just amazing. More fun, I should say.

Thank you, both very nice.

I still love the MeteoEarth one the best however. Their wind map is just amazing with the different altitudes. Its pretty much the best weather app Ive ever seen so far. And very inexpensive too.
Fun.
Lets search for some more goodies.

It looks like all Meteogroup apps get little updates the past 2 years or so, if at all. There were rumors that they were developing new versions, but Meteogroup has been taken over so no one knows.

The apps are no longer in the iOS App Store or in Google Play. I never used that app but I do use their source data in my Carrot Weather app which is really accurate. The WeatherPro app is still in the App Store which was last updated in August 2021.
