Here's a link I use on the ipad 4 on iOS 6 without problem ,
but on the Air it just crashes with a low memory error in the log?

Hope the link works, if not type marca in google and hit the translate this page link.
It's a major Spanish football newspaper site, using google translate to deliver the page in English.

Does it crash your Ipad Air or retina Mini?
Does it crash other iPads on iOS 7?

Crashed my Air too. Probably badly coded page or something but since I've never been there before I really can't say.

Could be but the iPad 4 on iOS 6 opens it without issue, same with any laptop.

I'm wondering if its the lack of memory in the Air or just a Safari iOS 7 issue.

I'm more inclined to think its a iOS 7 issue. How much RAM on the iPad 4? Exactly.

Remember the Air's 64 bit overhead means about 30% less ram available
than the iPad 4 according to Anandtech anyhow.

If someone has a older ipad on 7 then we can see the results...

My air crashes with 3-4 tabs open on safari. With the new mini retina, I open 6 plus and no issues. Any ideas?

I believe it's an issue with iOS 7 safari. I've had issues with it while everything else is stable on my Air.

Tried your page on my ipad 3 running iOS 6 and the page loads just fine. It's probably an iOS 7 issue rather than ram I would think. You might try another browser and see if its Safari perhaps.

doesn't crash my ipad 1 running ios 5.1.1

Pretty safe to say it's a safari issue / ios 7 issue and not a RAM issue considering the ipad 1 has 256 mb of ram.

The app crashed is real for sure. I don't know at this point if Apple acknowledged that?

The app crashed issue has to be brought up and mention publicly by major website like macrumors, engadget, etc... Just like new rMBP 13 with mysterious system hang when used trackpad and keyboard. The issue is only seen by small number of people. But the issue was mentioned publicly by those major website. Within week, Apple came out with the fix for it.

With this app crashed in iOS 7. Apple will just laughing at user in forum, until this was acknowledge as real issue by official site. That is just my opinion.

Didn't crash my mini retina. Did make all the other pages reload from memory though when I was done.

Hoping this is a fixable iOS7 problem. Have had several crashes on my new Air but have faith that it will be fixed.

If it is really due to the 1GB memory, it would likely still crash with 2GB so it is up to Apple to fix it's software. They got to be aware of it!

Thanks to those giving feedback.

So it opens fine on a iPad 4 on iOS 6 but crashes a 4 running 7.
Also crashes other devices running 7.

Seems to be a iOS 7 safari issue, except smaug reported it did not crash his retina mini...

My iPad air crashed on your link. However, I just went to the apple store today and got a new one and it doesn't crash on it. Loads it up fine, lets me scroll around with no issues. I opened another tab and played a YouTube vid and went back to your link while it was playing. Perfectly stable. I'll keep playing around with it, but no crashes yet, whereas the other one crashed all the time. ESPECIALLY in chrome!

To his point, my new rMini does not crash either but my old air did. I am starting to think maybe there are just either some bad devices out there, or wiping and reinstalling iOS7 might help? I cant find a trend.

Time for the apple defenders call to arms, to obfuscate and talk down the occurrence. Oops, I see that the typical apple defenders as already here doing exactly that.

Nothing to see here folks. Don't looked behind the curtain.

It's kinda tough to hide the buggy nature of iOS 7...
