I have a Late 2008 MacBook, and the Magsafe is fraying near the end. Does Apple still do the replacement program for the T-shape one? Also, my battery has 63 cycles and has 30% health, according to iStat Pro. Would they maybe replace that?

Don't think they will replace the battery. Mine was all swollen up, took it in and had no luck getting it replaced. Not sure about the power supply.

Your computer will be too far out of warranty for a free battery replacement (unless the battery has been recently replaced with another Apple battery)

Got the adapter replaced, they offered me a discount on the battery ($100 instead of $130). I didn't have the money, so I just got the adapter.
