The things no one seems to want hang around too long ... other stuff is nigh on unbuyable due to sell-out speed mixed with errors!
Yeah, it was stuck on Jack Keane 2 for hours yesterday--the reviews of the game are hilarious!
I agree. I am not camping the GOG site for over 24 hours continuously just to save a couple extra dollars on a $5.99 game IF that game happens to come up for sale and as for trying to get a game for free, forget it. There is too many people who apparently have nothing better to do that camp out on GOG for that.
I guess it is working for them but I just could not be bothered with a sale run that way myself.
Yeah, I think they needed to think this through better. You don't offer games for free for a limited time by number of downloads, especially not games like that. You don't get people to stick around like that. This is just a way for bottom feeders to come, get what they like, then leave.
It's better to sell stuff at $0.99 to $4.99 for that reason. You'll get the legitimate game players, who will most likely come back for the next sale.
