How do I set up a machine to automatically log on to a specific airport network whenever it is turned on/wakes from sleep?

Got an iMac/PowerBook I'm trying to have automatically join the wifi network at the parents' house whenever I'm here without always having to go select it from the drop-down menu.

System Preferences -> Network -> double-click the Airport entry.

By default, join -> Choose "preferred networks." Actually this should probably work with either setting. But choose this if there are competing networks which are open in the area and you have trouble where you're automatically connecting to them.
Options (at the bottom) -> "Automatically add new networks..." should be chosen.

If the network in question is not on the list, you may have to select it manually one more time. If there are other networks you do not want to automatically join, delete them from the list.

Let me know if this helps? :)
