So I have an old CD rom game that works on mac os 7-9, and works with classic support on mac os 10.4.11, and I want to copy the files so I can play the game through classic without a cd. But when I try to duplicate I get an error message, and when I copy all the files manually onto the desktop, eject the CD, it won't play the game because it says there are some data files missing. The same thing happens when I hit alt/option and drag the image to the desktop. I don't want another disk image made by disk utility, I just want of folder that I can play the game straight out of without the original CD. Can I do this? How? Another thing: is it really legal to copy it onto my computer? I don't want another copy of the disk, just to be clear. Thanks!
