Bit of a problem - I need to rip some CDs onto my MacBook but when I connect my external DVD Writer, it isn't recognised in Finder or Disk Utility.
It's an external Samsung TSSTcorp SN-S083F. Now it has worked on my Macbook previously (as it shows up when I try to burn a playlist to disk in iTunes), but whenever I try and connect it now (either by just the one USB cable, or by two), the drive spins up but nothing shows on Finder or Disk Utility? I've tried it with a blank disk in the drive and also a CD in the drive.
Any suggestions?
