Just curious to those running the beta if there have been any improvements to Safari stability? Specifically on the ipad air.

It is crashing constantly on my air - 6 to 7 times per day with moderate use. I did not have this problem with my ipad 3 running IOS 7 so can only guess that it has something to do with the 64 bit A7 chip or the related reduction in free memory.

Can't complain about my 5 on 7.1, but I couldn't on previous iOS 7 versions either. Is there something you want me to try where your devices crash?

Safari has crashed once or twice so far on 7.1. Far less than the other OS versions on my 5S. I am sure this will be fixed by the release build.

Thank you for offering but unfortunately it crashes randomly, on no specific sites that I can tell :-(.

Safari will still crash on 7.1 I guarantee it.

After watching this video I can guarantee Safari will still crash.

iPad Air here with 7.1. Safari is awful on it. Crashes frequently, freezes frequently, lags frequently. Can't wait for a new release.

What makes you so sure? The general release of 7.0 felt pretty 'beta' to me and 7.0.4 is still full of problems.

Obviously that's the point of new builds to fix stuff or add new stuff. 7.0.4 is much more stable on the iPad and iPhones which included fixes for stability and made my iPad 3 run much smoother...

But does it show up in the diagnostic logs? Safari crashes on me all the time on 7.0.4, but nothing shows up in the diagnostic logs. I'm not sure why.

Well this isn't reassuring :(

I'm baffled by all of this "safari is crashing" stuff....on 7.0.4 on my 5S and rMini and Safari doesn't give me any trouble.....

I have issues with the music app crashing, but that's about it as far as stock apps go.
