Hello Everyone,
For the last year or so I have been diligently converting MKV videos into M4V format, so that I can import them into iTunes. The reason is that like music, podcasts, and books, I would like to have all my media to be properly tagged and accessible in one place.
However, the problem is that despite my best efforts I have not found a way to reference MKV files in iTunes, without first converting them.
So, I am trying to find a solution, which is why I have come to you.
Is there any way that I can keep the original MKV format, but create a reference file in iTunes?
What I mean is, would it be possible to create say a one second M4V file (with album art, genres, etc), that on click, will run a script that opens the MKV file in say VLC?
Or, is there some other solution that would work?
I hope you guys can help.
Thanks,
CLM
