Not sure what's happening here. I bought a new (ac) AEBS to improve the quality of my wifi network, and this it has done. Except that now, every morning, the internet connection has dropped even though the AEBS status light stays green (as does the light on the old 1st gen AEBS that is being used as a bridge).

The cable modem (Xfinity) is up and has all its status lights on too, so I don't think it's that. Also, this was not a problem when I was using the old AEBS as my wifi router.

I have look through the Airport Utility to see if there is a setting that may be doing this, and I cannot see anything.

Any ideas?

TIA

Welcome to the world of early adopters :)
There are usually firmware issues for new products, especially networking gear. I had the same trouble with the first dual-band AEBS I purchased shortly after the release.

This should be fixed in an upcoming update, if not already in the new version from this week.
