My New Site - Thoughts Appreciated

http://www.barrysfarm.com

My new site went live around midnight last night. It hasn't exactly been a battle, but it hasn't been the easiest thing in the world. It used to be a blog, then I started designing and producing t-shirts so I added a storefront on half-heartedly, but it was still a blog. This redesign refocused the attention to the storefront the emphasis is on my shirts.

I just want some honest feedback on the site, and my shirt designs.

Thanks
barry

I really like the t-shirt designs, especially the marshmallow one. The site looks really nice too, easy to navigate.

Looks good - only quirk I'm seeing is on the t-shirt pages the footer isn't centered.

Thanks everyone! It's good to hear comments about something I slaved over for the past few weeks.

I fixed the footer problem...can't believe I missed that! Thanks

Yeah, the site and the shirts look great. Hurry and get the site working, I want to order that marshmallow t-shirt for my niece. It's hilarious!

Actually the site is all up and done. Anythings that's currently up there can be purchased.

Thanks again everyone.

The footer is off-center on the Policies, Sizing, Links and About Us pages. (Mac FireFox and Safari.)

I was in the screenprint industry for several years. Harlequin Nature Graphics (was) in Florida. The owner started in his garage and before he knew it he had a multi-million dollar company.

You have a nice site and the order system looks good. I dig the tag for your logo!

Good luck with this

Nice.
The page "exploded" on to my screen, which is good. Can't help but get right to the product. If it were me (and it's NOT!) I'd make each sample a tad smaller... say 3-4 per row. I also think the filigree in the middle looks "odd" being right justifed which makes the 3 text boxes seem off-center. The "buy" pages are perfect I think.

Very nice site...I'm thinking about buying a shirt. Any discounts for MR users?

Les Kern - I see what you're saying about the right justification on the flourish (that's what this one is technically called, from Emigre font Dalliance). I can fix that one easily, but the holidays have got me lazy so I don't know when I'll get around to it.

A discount you say? Well, there are mad coupons available right now which expire on the 31st. If you spend $50 you can get 7.50 off...more info available here. As far as mac rumors discounts, I don't think it's possible for me to discount specific people...I'm not in charge of production or shipping. Sorry.

Very nice! Your site is easy to navigate and looks great too. I may order a shirt from you also. Maybe you have a multi-million dollar company on your hands....

Cool shirts at Harlequin Nature Graphics - but no prices and no way to order. Are they still in business or maybe they sold the biz?

Not sure what's up with them to be honest. I was surprised to see the website when I searched for the company name last night. I thought they were out of business. I remember the Spain endevour just before I left in the early 90's. I think they probably do most of their business with Zoo's and Aquariums.

Just a thought, you have the image on the bottom of each product page without sample written across it or anything. I can see not doing that on a tiny image preview, because someone can't blow it up big enough to use it. But, the ones at the bottom of the pages are big enough for something to steal and use!

I abhor flash, but other than that, it seems like a great site with good T-shirt designs. I didn't really make it past the first page since I'm on dial-up (only for now...) right now.

Great site with a great design. T-shirts in that Defunker, Threadless, Busted Tees genre...which I like very much. Great work!

Cool site, cool shirts...

Keep in mind the Gestalt Principles.

I read the global navigation as "View Cart Policies" the first time.

Maybe you should work on the global navigation a little?

Other then that, good work!
