I could use some input.
I own 2011 27" iMac (less than 3 years old), 2TB hard drive, max memory and has Apple Care until this July. I also own a 6 month old Mac Air, 13", fastest processor, most HD memory, though little HD space. Plus an iPad and iPhone. I have one too many devices.
I love the MacBook Air immensely and am considering using that to replace my iMac. However, I want to make sure I can get similar functionality from the MacBook Air at a reasonable cost. I would need to buy a big monitor, external DVD drive, external hard drive(s) and more inputs, though nothing special. Anything else?
I want to keep the MacBook Air because I travel a lot and it's perfect. I don't like the iPad nearly as much for traveling.
I haven't looked at any prices yet. I just want to see if this makes sense?
