Hello all,
A friend of mine spilled some sort of liquid all over his brand new MacBook Air, and since it's liquid damage, AppleCare won't touch it for less than $800. I opened it up myself and with some research, I have determined that the fuse on the backlight connector is damaged, probably fried from the spill. Does anyone have repair recommendations? I'm NOT a micro-solderer so I'm wondering if anyone has a service they use that's NOT going to cost him $800.
Appreciate any help. Thanks!
