Late 2013" iMac Bluetooth Issue

Hi all,

Having an odd problem with my iMac. For about the past week, it's taking about 90 seconds after startup for Bluetooth to enable. Only have an Apple keyboard and touchpad.

The icon in the menu bar is the bluetooth symbol with a horizontal lightning bolt over it. Screenshot is attached.

Anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

Tried AppleCare chat. Apparently there was an issue with the first released build of mavericks from the App Store. He told me to reinstall mavericks (I did it clean) with a new download.

So I reinstalled using the mavericks recovery partition and all is well now.
