Hi, I am not sure if this issue has been raised before, but I appreciate any advice or assistance regardless.
iCloud keychain normally doesn't generate or save passwords for websites which request not to do so, but we have an option to override that. However, the issue then comes when it randomly generates a password, then logs me in without saving it.
So the problem is that I don't know what the password generated was, nor is it saved anywhere for my retrieval. Yeah, I saw it, but I didn't record it down. I was able to reset it, and the new password is now sitting inside 1password, but it strikes me as being an incredibly stupid implementation of a password generation tool. It's supposed to streamline the process of generating secure passwords and manage them automatically for me. If I have to write it down somewhere, doesn't that defeat the whole point?
What am I missing or overlooking? Am I not doing something right?
