Can anyone recommend me an external CD writer which will plug into my MacBook Pro as a temporary replacement for my SuperDrive?

I'm not concerned with DVD read/write, just CD read/write. Is it likely if I purchased one it would work with my MacBook Pro (2010)?

Wouldn't pretty much any external USB CD/DVD drive work? I just pulled a cheap LG out of my bag and plugged it into my 2011 Air and it showed right up. Beyond the "style factor" I don't see why anyone would buy a superdrive.
