Hey yall.

So, like most I woke up today excited for the new jailbreak. I downloaded evaders, did the whole process but something failed. My iPhone 4s was stuck on the apple screen so I went into recovery mode and restored it via my mac. Everything was great, my phone started up on the hello screen but once it went to the activate iPhone screen this happened:

"This iPhone is currently linked to an Apple ID a*****@gmail.com. Sign in with the apple id that was used to set up this iPhone.

So I did, except this happened:

" Apple user (e-mail) cannot be used to unlock this iPhone"

Can anyone tell me what this means? I've searched through Google and cannot find anything. I even changed my password on iCloud

Help!

can you find the phone when logged into icloud?

if so can't you just do an 'erase and remove' same as apple suggest for folks who've sold an iphone with activation lock left enabled?

Sign into iCloud "Find my iPhone" from a computer, and remove your phone from it. Then try activating again. That should fix the issue as it will dissociate the phone from your Apple ID.
