Optmize BenQ XL2720t

I just recieved my new monitor, a 27" BenQ XL2720T.
But for some reason I can't set to 120Hz, only to 60Hz. Even at W8 on bootcamp. It's connect with Mini DisplayPort to DV-I. I was thinking to buy a Mini DP to DP cable.
Any advice??

Because 120hz only work with Dual Link DVI-D for my PC; it won't work for other ports. I am not sure if adapters can help you with the trouble.

Yup! After doing some research I figured out that I end a Dual-Link cable. The opposite of a PC, where you connect directly to the video card...
My adapter is a simple DV-I...
