I ordered first thing after it was available on the 19th. I purchased AppleCare with it, and was charged for that amount, but not for actual computer.

My guess is that based on this, Apple may not be actually billing us for the computer until they ship.

I would imagine just about everyone buying a nMP is hoping to write-off this purchase in 2013...and we're all going to be pretty disappointed if that is the case.

Thats how it always is.

When it hits the "Preparing for Shipment" in your order status page they will bill you.

Yeah, I'll guess no-one will write this off for this quarter. Still falls within my financial year (1 July 2013 - June 30 2014)
