I sold my domain and now need to change my Apple ID email. Here's my delima.
I for some reason have 2 Apple ID's. #1 with my business email (selling domain) and #2 with my gmail. I understand I can't merge them, but I do want to change my main email on my main ID because I have used it to download apps, etc. I want to change my main login email to my gmail, which is of course associated with account #2.
I tried to change the email on #2 so I could free it up using it for #1. When I tried to add it to #1 it won't let me because it's used. However, now when I go to sign in under #2, it tells me Your Apple ID or password was entered incorrectly. When I sign in using the new #2 email, it's not listed.
#1 has both my .me and .icloud emails but I can't change the primary to them. I really need #1 changed because I sold the domain. I would like it to be #2's gmail. Is this possible?
