iPad updating ipad from jailbroken IOS 6.0 to jailbroken IOS 7.0.4

What are the necessary steps I need to take here?

When I plug the ipad into my pc and start up itunes, will it automatically restore my ipad to the latest IOS and wipe out my jailbreak? Then from here I can run the evasion program and do the jailbreak as normal?

Make sure to do a backup first if you want anything from your ipad.
Let itunes restore to ios 7.0.4 then restore your backup then JB
