Quicktime Media Server

I was wondering why no one talks about using QuickTime media server. All I see is folks talking about are XBMC and Plex.

Is there an issue with the QuickTime Media server? My purpose for buying the Mac Mini is to use the computer both as a server and a HTPC.

Well, I found out alright why no one talks about the QuickTime Media Server...sadly. Apple discontinued that feature of its Server package.
