Like the title says - is there any way? I don't use iCloud and everything iCloud related is already turned off in settings, but I can't get rid of the iClous icon in the Safari toolbar for iPad (ios7).

Just ignoring it is not an option ?

Thank you for being so helpful!

For those inclined to actually help, I figured that since the button was not on my iPod touch, and since Safari in OSX allows you to do away with it, that this would be an easy process. I don't like superfluous apps and buttons on my devices if I can help it. I have been ignoring the stocks, newsstand, and passbook apps for years, but if there was an option to delete them from my devices I would, which is why I am asking about this.
