Just received a replacement iPhone 5 today, very good service from Apple there.

Anyway I was going through the steps of setting up the iPhone and selected to restore my iPhone from my iCloud backup which I made before sending my old phone in, since it was an iOS 7 backup and the replacement was shipped with iOS 6 it came up with an error saying it couldn't be restored due to the differing iOS version.

Which was fine as I just set it up as a new iPhone then upgraded to iOS 7 did a reset and during the iOS 7 setup followed the same restore from iCloud backup routine, however I would have thought Apple may have made the process simpler by saying 'I can't restore this backup due to it requiring iOS 7, would you like me to download iOS 7 and upgrade this iPhone then apply your iCloud backup?' :D
