Apple Mail with Google Apps for Business

Our small company recently moved to Google Apps for Business.

I am on an iMac with Mavericks 10.9.1 and us Apple Mail 7.1 (1827)

How do I set Mail up for the Google App email? I have heard several things like using the Mail Exchange or Google account settings and just configuring an IMAP account.
