Hi.
I am having a terrible problem using usb audio interface with my new imac 27" late 2013, and a lot of people are having the same problem.
Now I have the entire os x on an external drive but it is slow and sluggish
I have read that I can split the fusion drive into the SSD part and the HDD part.
Would that be a good idea since apple doesnt seem interested oin fixing the issue for us who work with audio (!!!)
If I split the drives, will I be able to put the osx system and applications on the SSD and the rest of the files on the HDD?
How can that be done? The SSD part of the fusion drive is 128GB and the HHD part 1tb, when restoring from a Time machine backup, can I choose where to put, for example the documents folder?
Or is the whole thing a bad idea?
