Hello all,
Well i finally gave in and bought a mac book pro 15 retina. So far it's running nice had some issue but figured them out. This is my first time on a mac , work with windows all my life plus linux.

My question is

in windows I have always had my laptop and desktop encrypted with truecrypt. Now that i'm on Mac is it possible to encrypt the whole drive like windows. The only reason why i is in case it gets stolen or i lose it.
I know OSx comes with filevault that's turn on already.

but i would want something more secure. Have you guys ran into this issue or wanted to really protect your data from someone else?

Let me know if you guy have any suggestions.
